Tonja's professional background spans accounting,
financial management, taxation, grants administration,
nonprofit management, organizational capacity building,
and leadership development. Her work reflects an
understanding that financial information, organizational
systems, responsibilities, and strategic priorities are
interconnected—and that leaders need to understand those
connections to make informed decisions.
Throughout her career, Tonja has combined providing
professional services with educating and working
alongside clients. She helps leaders and teams understand
the information behind their decisions, address immediate
needs, strengthen systems and processes, and develop the
knowledge and practical capabilities needed to carry
the work forward.
Tonja has worked with QuickBooks since 1998 and has
provided QuickBooks training for more than 20 years.
Beginning with one-on-one client instruction, she
expanded her training to include staff training,
webinars, courses, and other learning formats while
continuing to provide individualized support. She has
trained individuals and teams from nonprofit organizations,
faith-based organizations, municipalities, and small
businesses, helping them move beyond software features
to understand how their accounting systems support
reliable financial information, effective processes,
and stronger financial management.
